What to Expect at Your Visit
At Nova Eye Care Center, our primary goal is to provide you with quality and thorough eye care services with the latest technology. Dilation of your pupils may be required at your eye exam, which will result in blurry vision and sensitivity to light for several hours. A dilated exam allows the optometrist to provide a complete assessment of your eyes and to screen for retinal detachment, glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, and tumors. Please allow 45 minutes to an hour for your appointment. You may need additional time if you are planning on browsing for glasses.
