Contact lenses are a great alternative to wearing glasses. They can be used as the primary source of vision correction, occasionally on the weekends, on special occasions, or for sports. Contact lenses are considered a medical device and therefore must be prescribed by an optometrist. It is important that they fit properly and comfortably and are cared for correctly with the proper hygiene and disinfection system.
