About the Doctors
Tina Kelly, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Tina Kelly (formerly known as Dr. Tina Vu) has been helping Northern Virginians see better for over fifteen years. She has been running her own clinic for the past decade and is skilled in all areas of optometry. She specializes in the management and treatment of dry eyes, uveitis (iritis) and glaucoma and hard-to-fit contact lens cases for keratoconus and irregular and post-surgical corneas. Dr. Kelly is devoted to providing excellent eye care for children and adults, especially those with amblyopia (lazy eye), macular degeneration, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other diseases that cause vision or eye problems. She also treats acute eye diseases such as conjunctivitis (pink eye), hordeolum (stye), eye injury, corneal abrasion, and foreign body removal. She co-manages surgeries for cataracts and LASIK with ophthalmologists in the Northern Virginia area.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Dallas in 2003 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2007. She completed her optometry clinical training at the University Eye Institute in Houston, TX, the Veterans Affairs Hospital Eye Clinic in Albuquerque, NM, and the Naval Health Clinic in Quantico, VA. Dr. Kelly continues to attend lectures and strives to always keep up-to-date on the newest and best treatments and technology to care for her patients.
Dr. Kelly moved to the Washington DC metro area from Dallas, TX after completing her training. She enjoys photography, knitting, crocheting, scuba diving, and traveling in her spare time.
Jennifer Lee, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Jennifer Lee is a primary care optometrist specializing in myopia control management, dry eyes, Orthokeratology (OrhtoK) contact lens fitting, and treating eye diseases such as dry eyes, glaucoma, and conjunctivitis (pink eye). She also has extensive training and experience in fitting contact lenses for astigmatism, multifocal, and hard-to-fit lenses, managing cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye diseases.
She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, a master’s degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Her training includes externships at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, low vision training at Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center, and contact lens/primary care training at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, as well as the state and national optometric associations.
Dr. Lee was born and raised in Winslow, Arizona, which was made famous by the song "Take It Easy" by The Eagles. She moved to the Northern Virginia area in 2015 after completing her training and graduating from optometry school. During her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, teaching her rescue border collie new tricks, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited and committed to providing the best eye and vision care for patients in Alexandria and Northern Virginia.
